Charles Lalonde and Amber Walpole are Atelier Amberbrook, a home-based business located in the picturesque Gatineau Hills of Quebec, within Canada’s national capital region.

Charles was a professional photographer in his first career until he discovered his true talent was building beautiful things of wood. He has been a woodworker and a cabinetmaker for the past 18 years and teaches occasional courses in cabinetmaking and home renovation at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada.

Amber has been a professional designer for over 20 years, creating everything from graphics to furniture to museum exhibitions. She divides her time between designing on her Macintosh computer and working on projects and prototypes in Atelier Amberbrook’s shop studio.
