A travelling exhibition that explores the history of sealing and whaling in Atlantic Canada. The design features two dioramas – a stranded seal hunter on an ice floe and a deck cannon on the bow of a whale catcher ship. Surrounding each diorama are supporting artifacts, replicas, models, photos, artworks and evocative documents on community memory.
